sharingnaturephotography.com: Bio

Photography has been a life-long passion for me, and my retirement from telecommunications in 2001 has given me the time I need to take my work to the next level.

I'm an avid hiker, and I've captured amazing images while hiking and visiting several of our National Parks, the Canadian Rockies, France, England, Italy and locations throughout Alaska and most recently Namibia, Botswana and Kruger Nat'l Park in Africa. I especially enjoy photographing wildlife, and bears and all African animals are top on my list to "shoot". I'm a California native and my work represents all the state has to offer - mountains, desert, coastline and much more.

Making a difference in my community is very important to me and I have found a way to do that through my photography. I share a percentage of my net proceeds with the non-profit organization I founded in March, 2010, the National Coalition Against Prescription Drug Abuse (NCAPDA) that works to increase community awareness about the dangers of abusing/misusing prescription drugs. I like to know that each picture I take has the potential to share nature with those who aren't able to get out and enjoy it on their while making a difference in communities throughout the country.

I specialize in custom arrangements and love consulting with my customers to find just the right photograph for home or office. If I don't already have what will work for you, your perfect photograph is just a snapshot away! Please contact me directly if you see something you're interested in.
